The Kent Centre has been in continuous existence since the late 1970’s. It is the oldest centre in existence in the Suzuki Owners Club. Over the years the Centre has had a number of meeting places around the County. During its long history the Kent Centre has traditionally met in the north-west of the county near Brands Hatch and also in the Medway Valley.

In 1999 a new centre catering for members in the east of Kent was formed, the Garden of England Centre (GoE). At a Centre AGM the GoE and Kent Centres merged and took the title of Kent Garden of England Centre. In 2003 the Garden of England Centre name was dropped completely and the original title restored.

The Centre continues to run and in 2009 has announced a new third meeting place to give the members more chances to meet. Each year the Centre organises events during the summer months and also members attend events up and down the country organised by other centres and the National SOC.
